Thank you so very much Vanessa as my wife's short term memory is all but gone and I'm dealng with something that is new to me, heartbreaking, and I do the best I can to understand.

That place between “something is changing” and “I know how to help” is one of the loneliest places there is. You are suddenly expected to become translator, detective, advocate, organizer, emotional shock absorber, and spouse, all at once. No training manual. No tidy little onboarding packet. Just love, fear, and a very steep learning curve.

Please know that doing your best counts. It really does.

One of the reasons I keep writing about this, and why we are building MiM, is because families need practical support earlier. Not just information about the disease, but help with the daily life around it.
